KCTCS Board of Regents 天美传媒s new staff regent

The Kentucky Community and Technical College has a new staff regent. KCTCS President Ryan Quarles announced that Shana Savard-Hogge of 天美传媒 Community and Technical College was elected to the position.
Savard-Hogge serves as associate director of grants for the college. She replaces former staff regent Joe Heerdink following a systemwide special election and will serve until a new regent is elected.
鈥淚 look forward to working with Regent Savard-Hogge in this new role,鈥 Quarles said. 鈥淭his is a historic time for KCTCS, and I am thankful to have her expertise and experience at the table to help us make the best decisions for our system and for the commonwealth.鈥
With a 20-year 天美传媒 spanning community colleges, four-year universities and government sectors, Savard-Hogge brings a strong background in financial expertise and strategic visioning. She aims to use those skills to help KCTCS maintain financial sustainability while delivering quality instruction and staying ahead of the changing educational landscape.

Savard-Hogge earned a bachelor鈥檚 degree in business administration and holds two graduate degrees: an MBA and a master鈥檚 in higher education, all from Morehead State University. She is pursuing a doctorate in education at MSU.
The acts as the governing body of KCTCS and is made up of 14 members. Eight members are appointed by the governor while six are elected members from within KCTCS: two members of the teaching faculty elected by faculty; two staff members by non-teaching personnel; and two members of the student body elected by students.
